Workhorse Service

WorkhorseService.comWorkhorseService.com is a new site constructed after the owner had been hacked. The former site had been built on WordPress but it was not secured and maintained so hackers exploited vulnerabilities and the owner was wary of the platform. After explaining the problems with the former installation, I built a new, optimized site that has a catalog of parts (that can be ecommerce enabled, if desired). I also helped him with his domains and email on a Linux server. A responsive design, a blog, and geo-location information add to site findability and credibility. I helped them with the G+ social profile as well.

The new site has resulted in numerous contacts from web searches and an increased ability for customers to find his physical location.

American Wholesale Distributors

American Wholesale DistributorsAmerican Wholesale Distributors is a wholesale provider of products to convenience stores, ball parks, restaurants, pharmacies and gift shops in the Birmingham, Alabama area.

They had no website but had a domain name and wanted to create a site to showcase new products and deals to current and potential customers. The branding was supplied by Signature Media and the site developed on a WordPress platform. The project required a bit of photography, web design, and domain/email management. I also helped them with social channels and the top 20 directory listings in Google search results.

Hungate Cases

Hungate CasesHungate Cases needed a website to demonstrate their new E Series guitar case. The site was built on a responsive platform and launched with the early goals of lead generation and product demonstration.

A 360° product spinner, created from CAD drawings, was a major feature on the homepage. Pictures do speak volumes and the user interactivity supplied by the spinner is a plus. Of course, it helps to have a beautifully designed product to work with.

A fantastic video was produced by Voltaic Video to showcase the use of the E Series case. The modular design approach taken in site development facilitated adding the video served from a third party.

A product feedback survey was created with easy QR code access to facilitate marketing at SXSW 2015 Music Festival. Hungate Cases showed the prototype case at the gear show and around various venues for feedback. I also helped them create promotional items for the show.

As the product gets closer to launch and the company grows, this site can meet those needs and help Hungate Cases market their new and innovative product.

I also helped them with their social profiles including Twitter, Facebook, Vimeo, YouTube and Google+ .

A Little Something Email Template

A Little Something email templateThis responsive email template was created for client A Little Something Gift Boutique in Cahaba Heights, Alabama. The business had a substantial mailing list but had not begun email marketing efforts. This template, set up in Constant Contact, enabled them to reach their customers with news of a new baby section to the store and will allow them to continue reaching out as new items come into the physical store.

Sheepdog Firearms

Sheepdog FirearmsReliable Ad Group asked me to help them with a client’s website development. Sheepdog Firearms is an indoor range and training facility coming to the Trussville, Alabama area. The range is still in development, but they needed an informational site that would also enable lead generation and e-commerce for the sale of charter memberships. The site was developed with the growth of the facility and needs of future members in mind. Ecommerce, gift cards, online memberships, and a newsletter signup was included in the responsive website.

The owners abandoned their WordPress site in October of 2017.

Ad Spark

Ad SparkI have the opportunity to work with the guys at Ad Spark in Trussville, AL regularly and was honored when they asked me to help them update their company web site. It was severely outdated and presented a neutral if not negative impression to anyone checking out their abilities. It just did not do them justice.

So I created this new site for them on a WordPress platform that showcases select projects and clients while explaining what it is they can and have done. The setup allows the site to grow and develop with the company. The guys were great to work with and the site came together swiftly and is a positive digital presence for Ad Spark.

And recently, when they changed their name from Reliable Ad Group to Ad Spark, the transition was easy and seamless.

Life & Style PR

Life & Style PRLife & Style PR, a division of Panorama Public Relations, wanted to revamp their web site to update the look, functionality, and incorporate more of their team’s personality. They wanted to feature the work they have done for clients and put a fashion-forward face on their digital presence. The site was made responsive and the content was expanded to focus on their strengths and services.

The colors used in the site were taken from the parent company branding to create a more familial relationship between the two companies. Professionally taken photos add style, personality, and punch to a homepage slider of messages about their business focus and strategy.

The new site includes features to enhance SEO, social media integration, video player, and Slideshare embedding. Since they were already on WordPress, they had a leg up on the site revamp. A few plugins were updated, and several were added to incorporate desired features.

A projects page features a thumbnail gallery of their work that can be built upon going forward. The blog is more prominently featured and will be added to much more frequently. Life & Style PR also allowed me to publish a guest post on sensory branding and the Oscar Mayer bacon scented alarm app.

The separate Life&StylePR website has since been merged with a redesigned PRview.com.
