Ascension St. Vincent’s Foundation raises funds to support new programs, education, equipment, technology, and capital expansion across Ascension St. Vincent’s. They approached me to help them build a new website that would help expand their reach, communicate benefits, and facilitate donation. The new website is built in WordPress in a responsive theme with many improvements over the old site which was built on an ASP platform. This website uses integrated forms from a third party vendor and had many more images to better engage visitors.

Birmingham Duplicate Bridge Club
Boom Town Makers Market
Fort Payne Main Street
Fort Payne’s non-profit Main Street organization needed a new website that incorporated new branding and that could inform the public of events and grow with the downtown area. Built on a WordPress backbone, the website serves to distribute information about the attractions, shopping and events in Fort Payne.
first fruits ministries
Entering a new chapter in the life of the first fruits ministry required a new and improved web site. The previous site was built years ago and needed to be modernized and made easier to use. I was pleased to continue working with them to improve their e-commerce and marketing capabilities while helping them maintain the flavor of the original site and branding.
The design is cleaner, more modern and built on a responsive platform that adjusts for mobile devices. They have a blog, an integrated shopping cart and newsletter capability. They also added social media. In addition, responsive email templates were created to reflect the new feel of the brand.
Beaux Arts Krewe
Birmingham Beaux Arts Krewe is a philanthropic organization benefiting the Birmingham Museum of Art. They wanted a web site that would serve their members and showcase the Krewe’s efforts to the wider public.
I was pleased to help them with a visually pleasing and functional site built on a WordPress platform. Much of their content is restricted to members only, but the areas accessible to the public include information about the organization, the history, the heraldry, and the art purchased by the museum using Krewe donations.
The members only area includes forms, bylaws, membership information and a directory.
Linly Helflin Unit
The Linly Heflin Unit was founded in 1919 as a women’s service organization. Since 1923 the major focus of the group has been to further the education of young women in Alabama. To date, over 3,000 four-year scholarships have been awarded to Alabama girls attending Alabama colleges and universities.
The organization needed an updated website with the ability to easily edit the content, accept donations, and have a members only area for some content. WordPress provided a platform that would transform their web presence into a modern and user friendly web site. Features of this improvement included a pictorial membership directory, donations via Paypal, contact form, a homepage slider, and more pictures throughout the site. The site used a branded color palette and was SEO optimized.
Hospice of Marshall County
The non-profit Hospice of Marshall County requested graphics for two upcoming fundraisers. Graphics were created to help promote their “Race to Remember” and “Lights of Love” events. These were for mixed use in all their promotional and event materials.
“Gayle at Rustixs Interactive has generously donated her time and skill set to improve several local nonprofits. Not only is she charitable, she is incredibly talented, understanding and kind. She delivered multiple design ideas with a much quicker turnaround time than anyone I’ve ever known in the design world! She provided several options for our organization (Hospice of Marshall County) and managed all of our expectations efficiently through email alone!
I was impressed by how quickly Gayle grasped and displayed a strong understanding of our organization and our needs. She captured the elements and design we were looking for with little to no direction from us! Gayle was quick, knowledgeable, efficient, friendly and professional. Rustixs Interactive has helped us raise the profile of our events with excellent designs. I would highly recommend Rustixs Interactive to anyone.” — Annah Grace Morgan, Hospice of Marshall County, August 2012

The law firm of Webster, Henry, Lyons, White, Bradwell & Black wanted a logo for their firm. I was pleased to provide them with several mock ups before they chose this bold and stylish treatment. Work was performed in conjunction with Reliable Ad Group.
