A Little Something – Facebook

A former colleague opened a fabulous gift boutique in Cahaba Heights, Alabama, called A Little Something. She asked me to help her with her Facebook page and web site. After setting up the page, I visited the store  to take pictures of the store interiors for the Facebook page and her web site. I still do occasional posts for her, but she is maintaining the page and conversations.

Eric Hungate

Eric is a unique individual — a mix of singer, songwriter, and information technology professional. He wanted a site that would feature his music and creativity up front and profile his professional life in the background. Kind of like a reverse mullet. The challenge was to create a web site for him that showed both sides without being too much in either camp artistically.

His music is Americana, his lyrics are tongue-in-cheek, and his life accomplished. His site, built on a WordPress backbone so that he could edit and add content, is clean, classic, and serves his dual personalities.

Yellow Bicycle Catering

This site was constructed on a WordPress backbone for a Birmingham, AL catering company owned by successful restauranteur George Sarris of  The Fish Market. The focus was to translate their print menu into a web site that would showcase menu items, engage visitors, and take advantage of SEO and search engine traffic. Features of the site include an image gallery, slideshow, contact form, Google analytics integration, location-based information, social sharing, and email signup widget. This work was performed in conjunction with Reliable Ad Group.

LegacyofAnnieRose.com

Simple two page HTML site for reluctant author and tarantula fan Carolyn Swagerle. She wanted a very simple site to promote her book “The Legacy of Annie Rose” and receive email feedback from readers or other interested visitors.

It’s beautiful!  A perfect design! And you’re right. It’s what I wanted. Thank you so much for your help! Carolyn Swagerle

PlantationPorches.com

Client requested help to move their HTML site from YP.com to an independent hosting service. This involved communication with ATT to move the domain registration to the new host and editing all pages to remove  proprietary code and make the pages function on the new platform. I added a lightbox gallery/slideshow of the clients work and an email contact form.
